I just want to thank you for what your doing Jay!
your sermons keep me in check for being the person I think I am and the person I should be and the mark I want to leave on my time on this planet! I always thought I had Grace down pat! but realize I tend to be like the Penquin(Burgess Merideth Penquin not danny DeVito Penquin)so as much as I try to live a graceful life it is not easy! I take these podcasts very much to heart and carry them with me for weeks.
Sooooo Thank you again and welcome to the Midwest.
Thank you, Jay! One book that I find really helpful on the topic of processing hurt without a) whitewashing wrong or b) being killed by bitterness is “How Can I Forgive You?: The Courage To Forgive, The Freedom Not To” by Janis Spring.
